What is a Wetting Agent?
UK Lawns can dry out easily and become unsightly quickly as a result.
A lawn is deemed to be ‘Hydrophobic’ when it stops allowing water to penetrate through the soil surface.
When mixed with water and applied to a lawn, a Wetting Agent (Surfactant) lowers the surface tension of soil, allowing better penetration of Water in dried-out areas which in turn helps fertiliser wash through into roots.
